I love to travel. And one of my favorite parts of traveling is visiting unique spots to eat. Inspired by shows like "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" and "Man vs Food"; I'll try to find spots off the beaten path that serve great food with some funky flair.
My philosophy has always been "never eat something you can get at home". So you won't see any chain restaurants. But occasionaly I will talk about my local faves. Growing up in the Capital District and now living in Syracuse, on my "down time" from traveling I'll throw in some of my favorite spots around town.
I just got home from a weekend trip to the Boston area. We like to stay just outside the city in Natick. We revistied one of our new favorites - The British Beer Company, went to The Barking Crab (featured on MvF) and stopped at Charlie's Diner on the way home (Where the owner stated "How'd you find us? Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives? Bad choice!).
